Forest Plastics Working Group – Plastics, Trees and Woodlands Conference

The Forest Plastics Working Group’s upcoming conference will take place on the 2 November at Leeds City Museum.

Focusing on the use of plastic in woodland creation, the conference will build on the Group’s work over the last three years – recapping 2019’s Plastic Tree Guards – Do We Need Them? conference, providing news of alternative guard trials, discussing best practice with experts, and finishing with an international panel discussion.

The day will be packed with talks and discussions, opportunities to ask industry leaders for advice and network with foresters, land managers, NGOs, and anyone involved with planting trees.

We are asking for a £5 contribution to the cost of catering at the event.

The event is organised by Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust – a charity supporting the people, landscape and wildlife of the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas.
