What you need to know
The Institute of Chartered Foresters, as the chartered body for tree professionals in the UK, is committed to ensuring that the standard of competence and conduct of its members is to a level that the public has a right to expect.
The Institute has established a Professional Complaints Process which sets out the procedures for submitting and determining a complaint alleging a breach of the Institute’s Code of Conduct by a member of the Institute. Please note that the Institute cannot accept complaints about those who are not ICF members.
The Guidance Notes for Complainants should help a potential complainant to determine whether there are grounds to complain and to understand the process for making and determining a complaint.
The Institute makes no charge for dealing with complaints against its members.
