The graduate scheme, Unlocking Potential, is a 12-month training programme for Tilhill and Maelor Forest Nurseries (part of the BSW Group) employees. With an annual cohort of graduates, the final session of the programme involves a ‘Dragons Den’ style session where business ideas are pitched to a panel.
Dr Stuart Glen, the Institute’s Member Services Director, was invited by Tony Lockey, BSW’s Group Learning & Development Manager, to sit on the panel for two sessions this year as an industry expert. The winner and runners up are awarded a hand-carved Tilhill Dragon sculpture – stay tuned to find out who won.
