Stand for election in 2022

With an ambitious new Strategic Plan being put into action, this is an exciting time to join us as a Trustee.

Standing for election as a Councillor is a great opportunity for you to develop your governance skills and contribute to how your profession looks and acts over the coming decade.

There are currently vacancies for three Fellows and five Professional Members on Council. Terms are for two years and all ages and backgrounds are welcome so long as you are chartered.

What's involved?

As well as involvement with Council business at a minimum of three meetings each year, each Councillor will also be appointed to one of the Institute’s committees or activity portfolios.

All service on the Council is honorary but reasonable cost of travel and, when necessary, overnight accommodation can be met by the Institute.

Apply today

If you would like to stand for Councillor, you will need two chartered members to nominate you by writing to the Secretary before 27 February.

Voting will take place at our AGM on 26 April.
