You will be responsible for the development and delivery of the forestry specialism on commercial projects to Programme, Project Managers and Developers across the Commercial Development and Energy Delivery Teams North & South. These 3 teams facilitate the development of complex, commercial projects on the Natural Resources Wales Managed Estate. You are the technical specialist supplier leading on providing forestry advice and guidance on selected lower risk commercial projects. This will also require you to work with Place-based, Land Stewardship and Timber Sales & Marketing Teams.
The Commercial Development Team is a small and dynamic team of 15 members spread across Wales with a broad range of skills including forestry, land agency, environmental and project management. We are part of the wider commercial team that leads on facilitating renewable energy projects and recreation & tourism projects on the NRW managed estate and the sales & marketing of timber from the NRW managed estate.
