Opportunity

With TreeStory about to enter its fifth year, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced forestry professional to join our expanding team and help oversee the delivery of a rapidly growing and diverse portfolio of woodland creation and forest management projects, shaped by our distinctive core values. Our Senior Forestry Managers are responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects, leading a project team of foresters and removing all obstacles to getting work done. The role is focused on planning and overseeing the projects, keeping track of the project flow, and making sure that projects are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets.

Senior Forest Managers in our Project Delivery team play a critical role in ensuring that the core values of TreeStory are implemented at every stage of planning and operations. These core values are set out in our Woodland Charter, which you can read about here. Our projects are where our vision becomes reality. Your role is to ensure that we live up to the high standards we set for ourselves and our clients.

We use a team approach to all our work. Each project in your portfolio will be assigned a unique team based on the varied skill of our pool of talented forestry professionals. You will be expected to provide high level technical assistance to all the project teams and mentor their skill development. You will also be expected to work with our Engagement team by providing technical input to potential projects and assist the Resource team with long term project and workload planning.
