Veon is looking to recruit Regional Managers to join our growing team throughout Ireland. As a company offering services to the forestry, ecology, environmental and arboriculture sectors, the successful candidates must demonstrate a knowledge of good forestry practice while also being committed to providing practical solutions for our clients to a high standard. Our company offers a broad range of services in all aspects of forestry all of which will provide you with a breadth of experience in this field.

The primary role will involve managing all forestry sales and forestry operations on a day-to-day basis operating to tight deadlines. The role reports to the Operations Manager.

We offer flexibility in relation to the location of the role and the successful candidate can be based at any of our Offices, in Dublin (head Office), Kilkenny, Galway, Limerick, Longford and Leitrim. The roles are generally focused on specific regions in the country but as part of a growing organisation, the roles will require you to be flexible.

The Role

• Generating new harvesting, roading and establishment sales
• Conduct quarterly regional planning and execution of same
• Establishment, Harvesting and Roading project budget reporting and execution
• Annual existing client budgeting and operation planning
• Existing client budgeting reporting and enquiries
• Manage operations and staff in the region
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of reports
• Maintain health and safety standards of staff under your control

Requirements of Regional Manager Role

• Relevant Third Level Forestry Qualification
• Full clean driving licence
• Excellent leadership, planning, organisational and communication skills
• High level of proficiency in IT systems, including GIS, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of current legal requirements and guidelines as they relate to forestry
• 3 Years relevant experience in the Forestry Industry
• Candidates should be chartered or working towards chartered status
