We are the University of Cumbria, a place where people are at the heart of all we do, where enriching the lives of our students, staff and the communities we serve means we make a difference that really matters.
Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.
The Institute of Science and Environment (IoSE) is seeking to recruit a Lecturer in Forestry. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience of a wide range of forest management practices and with strong links to the forestry sector.
This could be an opportunity for an industry professional looking for a career change or a new challenge to share their experience and skills with our students. We would be happy to consider job share/part time applications for this post. Prior experience in teaching in higher education is not essential. For those new to teaching, the University offers a PgC in Learning and Teaching for Higher Education.
