Forestry Business Support from FCE
Forestry Commission England (FCE) are offering free support to forestry businesses in relation to grants within the new Rural Development Programme (RDP).
The aim of the initiative is to maximise the number of forestry businesses with ‘oven-ready’ applications, once the application process opens in 2015. A consortium of forestry specialists will provide support to forestry businesses in order to achieve this, advising on areas such as business planning, financial forcasting, legal agreements, identifying the right technical solutions etc.

Demonstration Events
To help forestry businesses better understand the potential of RDP grants, FC are organising a series of demonstration events across England to showcase how EU funding has been used by previous grant-winners. The aim of the demonstrations is to illustrate the potential for growth and improved efficiency.
