I am a Chartered Forester, Chartered Environmentalist and Chartered Surveyor providing consultancy services in forest and woodland management as well as arboriculture services through my company, Sylvan Resources Limited. The services I offer include managing and valuing woodlands and natural capital, providing expert witness opinions and reports, shadow appraisals, tree surveys for planning and development sites, environmental assessments, landscape schemes, and advising on tree-related aspects of solar, wind and hydro renewable energy. My key strengths include forestry, in particular, management and plant health, and expert witness analysis in relation to tree failure and tree hazards.
I studied Forestry at Bangor University and Environmental Technology at Imperial College London. My interests lie in holistic forestry and ecological management systems.
