On Monday 20 June Chartered Forester Max Hislop MICFor of the Clyde Climate Forest gave evidence to the House of Lords Select Committee on Land Use. The Institute’s Executive Director, Shireen Chambers MBE FICFor, also contributed to this inquiry in a private meeting on 6 June and various other Institute members and partners have contributed, such as Confor, the Woodland Trust and Forestry Commission.
The Committee is attempting to address the many pressures on land use in England, calling on stakeholders across the land use professions to help them understand the issues and share good practice. You can watch the recording of Max’s session here and find out more about the inquiry here.
