I have worked in the Arboricultural and Forestry industry for over 20 years, both in the public and private sectors. GHA Trees Ltd was first established in 2005 as an independent consultancy practice providing high-level expert advice on trees and woodlands, to a wide range of private and corporate clients.
I undertake arboricultural surveys relating to planning, protected trees, tree safety and trees implicated in damage to property. I also produce planting schemes for new developments and amenity landscapes. I have previously worked within local government as Arboricultural Manager for a prestigious London borough and also as a Contracts Manager.
My forestry work includes the management of woodlands for private landowners, where I seek to assist them with timber production / commercial thinning, grant applications and administration, new planting schemes and pest control/management; I have specialist knowledge in continuous cover forestry and the use of woodlands for commercial diversification.
