Government asks businesses to comment on regulators’ appeals process

The Government has invited businesses to to help shape plans for potential legislation to make regulators’ appeals and complaints processes more responsive to their needs.

The government proposes to appoint Small Business Appeals champions who would work within each non-economic regulator (of which Forestry Commission is one), scrutinise their appeals and complaints processes, and make public recommendations for their improvement.

This consultation closes on 22nd April.
