The UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS) has announced the appointment of Ben Gunneberg MICFor as its new Chair. Ben, a Chartered Forester, is an international sustainability consultant with over 30 years of cross-sector experience. He has been an elected member of the Institute’s Council since 2022.

The Institute was delighted to award His Majesty King Charles III with an Honorary Fellowship at a special ceremony held at Highgrove House, presented by Executive Director, Louise Simpson, alongside President of the Institute, Geraint Richards MVO FICFor.

The Institute’s Executive Director, Louise Simpson, recently met with the Chief Executives of CIEEM and CIHT, with input from SocEnv and RTPI, to discuss various topics from digital infrastructure and AI, to membership categories and retention rates.
