The Institute must continue to adapt to a changing environment and ensure that our governing documents are fit for purpose for a modern, forward looking profession. This is why we are proposing changes to our Bylaws and Regulations, written in 1982 when we received our Royal Charter.
Members will have the opportunity to vote on these changes at our online Annual General Meeting on 4 May 2021. If you are interested in standing for election, there are vacancies for Honorary Officers and Councillors.
The Institute’s President, Alastair Sandels FICFor has a message ahead of the 2021 AGM:
We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the proposed update to the Bylaws which includes the introduction of a new class of membership – Technical Member, and to consider becoming more involved in helping lead the Institute by standing for election.
