Environment Minister launching key “Strategic Directions” forestry publication today at Institute of Chartered Foresters National Conference
Environment & Climate Change Minister, Paul Wheelhouse, is launching a new publication today giving a clear direction on how the National Forest Estate (land managed by Forestry Commission Scotland) will be managed to meet Scottish Government’s objectives.
Giving the keynote speech at the Institute of Chartered Foresters national conference at the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor on Wednesday 1 May, Mr Wheelhouse will also highlight the importance of the forestry sector to Scotland and the green economy.
The ICF National conference takes place over two days and brings together over 20 key professionals from the forestry and environmental sectors.
