Job description

Reporting into the Head of Forestry, Woodland and Arboriculture (Natural Capital) we are seeking applications from candidates with varying levels of experience and/or qualifications to help us grow the Arboricultural team and business. The role is to manage and develop an existing client base throughout England requiring a mixture of field and office-based skills. That offer a good variety of professional and project work with an emphasis on working with Carter Jonas infrastructure teams, local estates / landowners and businesses.

The role will initially focus on delivering existing infrastructure projects and assist other members of the team develop the arboriculture business.

There is scope within the role for supported professional and personal development. Candidates should be Chartered or working towards Chartered status. We are enthusiastic about technology, innovation and development and how this can be incorporated into our day to day roles to work leaner and smarter and delver quality solutions for our clients.

Whilst we anticipate the role to be full-time (37.5 hrs), we are willing to consider all flexible working arrangements, including part time for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be set up with the appropriate equipment to be a mobile worker, based at home to attend sites throughout the country, with an expectation of attending an office 1-2 day per week to integrate with other Carter Jonas teams to build the presence of the arboriculture service line within the Natural Capital department. (Office affiliations Birmingham, Leeds, Northampton, Oxford, Warrington depending on the successful candidates location).
