Cheshire Wildlife Trust are recruiting for a Senior Woodland Creation Officer to develop and deliver new woodland creation opportunities across the Cheshire region.
We are delivering more new woodland than ever before and have ambitious targets to tackle our climate crisis. Cheshire is one of the least wooded counties in the UK, by 2030 we must see nature recovering, wildlife returning, and ecosystems restored. Our woodland creation targets play an important part in delivering these positive changes.
This new Woodland Creation Officer role will work within our Nature Recovery team, focussing on seeking new woodland creation opportunities, working with landowners and managers, taking a lead in all technical and regulatory requirements to ensure the delivery of high-quality new woodlands.
