In North Region this means not only managing forests, but also restoring peatlands, caring for native woodlands and diverse habitats, managing busy recreation sites, and supporting renewables projects.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Planning Manager (Planning and Environment) for our North Region, who will use their management skills to lead, develop and support the team, overseeing how we plan future sustainable use and management of our land and take forward biodiversity initiatives.
If you have experience of spatial planning, strategic project management or forest planning, have successfully managed a team, have some experience of partnership working or collaborating with others, and you are looking for a role that contributes to sustainable land use in the Highlands, we want to hear from you.
Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another relevant professional body is desirable.
