Forestry is at the heart of our business, and we are looking for people to focus on seeking profitable growth opportunities across forestry operations in Scotland. Forestry Business Growth & Development Managers will be integral to our business development aspirations and strategy.

About you

We are seeking applications from dynamic people, with a passion for forestry, and an aptitude and enthusiasm for developing new business opportunities, building strong working relationships and nurturing our existing and prospective client base. Most of all you should thrive on creating opportunity and delivering complex and multi-faceted projects in order to grow our forestry business. In addition, you’ll have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Forestry/Countryside Management or closely related land-based sector.
  • Good knowledge and proven working experience of the UK forestry sector including associated grants and funding opportunities.
  • Experience in project management.
  • An aptitude for business development.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another directly relevant professional
  • Full driving licence.
