On Thursday 23 June a majority of the Great British public voted to leave the EU. ICF President, David Henderson-Howat FICFor said:
“The outcome of the EU referendum will clearly have far-reaching consequences for forestry and arboriculture in the UK. Some of the potential impacts have been outlined by members in blog articles posted on our website over recent weeks. Looking ahead, the ICF Council, its Committees and full-time staff will be working to build on this initial work in order to assess the implications of Brexit so that the Institute is well-placed to provide advice to members and to influence decision-makers during the crucial months that lie ahead.”
