Flora Locale 2014 Training Programme Announced
A programme for the 17th annual Flora Locale has been announced. 28 workshops will take place this year as part of the programme. These include:
- an introduction to scything
- recreating and restoring heathland for invertebrates
- creating and managing wildflower grassland
- woodland ground flora
- creating and managing ponds
- lowland wet grassland creation and management
- woodland management
- constructed wetland systems
- gardening for bumblebees, bugs and butterflies
- using horses in grassland management
- using horses in woodland management
- ponies and biodiversity
- managing veteran trees
- managing traditional orchards
