#MembersHour – Supporting Sustainable Forest Management: A Missing Rung on the Incentives Ladder

Join us for #MembersHour on 9 February with Paul Orsi MICFor from the Sylva Foundation and Justin Mumford FICFor CEnv from the Forest Canopy Foundation.

Join us for #MembersHour where Paul and Justin will introduce their collaborative Protect Improve Expand Sustain Project which has been funded to help deliver the government’s England Tree Action Plan. Sylva Foundation and the Forest Canopy Foundation, along with Grown in Britain and partnering with the NFU and Forestry Commission, have put together a funded advice package to help remove some of the early barriers that are preventing landowners creating more woodlands and managing existing woodlands. Paul and Justin will explain how the project partners aim to deliver sustained support beyond the life of the project, how it is supporting capacity building in the sector, and how communication has been key to early success.
