ICF National Study Tour 2016

The ICF National Study Tour 2016 will take members to the streets of London, exploring the important relationship between street trees, people and place. We will look at the many benefits that trees can bring – to health, highways and homes – and examine their resilience in this ever-changing city.

The tour will consist of a series of scene-setting talks from arboricultural and forestry experts leading ground-breaking projects across the capital. This will be followed by a number of site visits, giving delegates an insight into the practical solutions employed in the community.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for ICF members of all levels – Student, Associate, Professional and Fellow – to meet and learn in an informal setting.

Speakers at the ICF National Study Tour 2016 include:

  • Prof Chris Baines, Environmentalist, Writer, Broadcaster
  • Peter Massini MCIEEM, Greater London Authority
  • Paul Nolan OBE MICFor, Mersey Forest
