England’s Community Forests Annual Conference 2018

England’s Community Forests are within reach of more that 50% of the population. With local communities the Community Forest Trust have planted more than 16m new trees. Millions of people use and enjoy the new and growing forests. They provide a wide range of benefits for people and wildlife, as well as setting the scene for growth and jobs.

The Community Forest Trust’s 2018 annual conference will be focusing on some of the key issues facing trees and woodland in and around our towns and cities. The 25 Year Plan for the Environment provides a solid policy foundation for the future development of Community Forests.

The Northern Forest is a great opportunity for Community Forests in the north of England to work more closely with one another and in partnership with the Woodland Trust.
