2019 ICF Wales: Summer Field Trip

A field trip to Coed Llandegla  – A 650ha forest of firsts and one of the most interesting private sector woodlands in Wales

Coed Llandegla was the first private sector woodland in Wales to be UKWAS certified and the first to develop mountain biking on a commercial scale. It is considered the best example of multi-objective forestry in Wales.

This is an opportunity to discover how Tilhill Forestry has developed Coed Llandegla into the best example of holistic forest management in Wales. This walk and talk tour will be presented by Simon Miller from Tilhill Forestry and the subjects covered will include LISS, Forest Restructuring, the Development & Management of Commercial Recreation, Amenity and Biodiversity.

A Barbeque Lunch will be provided. Dietary requirements should be notified when booking.

Free parking is available at Coed Llandegla. Delegates should make themselves known to the parking attendant as ICF members.
