This meeting follows the popular ICF East England Regional Group’s mini-conference format and will look back at the evolution of forestry and arboriculture from 1919 to the present day, some of the lessons learned and missed.
After a keynote address to set the scene, invited speakers will present a personal perspective on the roles of the Forestry Commission, private woodlands and the urban forestry and arboriculture sector.
- Dr Jonathan Spencer
- Andrew Falcon, Falcon Forestry Ltd
- Sharon Hosegood FICFor, ICF Vice President, Sharon Hosegood Associates Ltd
The day will include a question time style panel discussion to explore some of the challenges for the next century and their implications for the forestry and arboriculture profession.
There will also be an opportunity to visit the nearby woodlands which were planted in the early 1990s.
This is expected to be a popular event and early booking is strongly recommended.
Coffee, tea and buffet lunch will be provided.
