Alastair is a Chartered Arboriculturist and Fellow of the Arboricultural Association. He has over 20 years of experience within the arboricultural sector.
Alastair specialises in the provision of bespoke arboricultural advice in relation to planning and building development (BS5837), through the initial identification of tree constraints, into the design, planning and construction processes.
With considerable additional experience as a Senior Tree Officer within a Local Planning Authority he has extensive experience in relation to trees and development, trees within planning policy, and trees and the law – particularly within the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and associated Tree Preservation Regulations.
