Shireen Chambers MBE FICFor, Executive Director of the Institute of Chartered Foresters, met with the CEOs of a number of our fellow professional bodies working in the natural and built environment sectors.
This collaboration began in February 2021 with a CEO Roundtable at the Institute’s Trees, People and the Built Environment 4 conference. Participants at the meeting included: Jane Findlay, President of the Landscape Institute; Victoria Hills, Chief Executive of the Royal Town Planning Institute; Sue Percy, Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation; Emma Wilcox, Chief Executive of the Society for the Environment and Jane Swift, Chief Executive of the Landscape Institute.
Coincidentally all women, the panel found our respective professions have many issues in common and shared ideas to work together across our sectors to enable a green recovery.
