Better Management Plans, Faster Approvals Workshops
As part of the Rural Development Programme for England 2014-2020, the new Countryside Stewardship scheme will offer grants to help landowners, farmers and foresters improve our environment and countryside. During the course of the scheme it is expected that 10,000 hectares of new woodland will be created – with £85 million set aside to support projects in 2016 alone.
During November, ICF will host a series of workshops in partnership with Forestry Commission England (FCE), introducing the new scheme and guiding participants through the application requirements, including the management plan and felling licences.
- Update on Countryside Stewardship Scheme 2014-2020
- How to deliver a sustainable and UKFS-compliant management plan
- Inside track on FCE requirements for a faster approval
- Case studies, practical insights, and demonstrations
- Live ‘Application Surgery’ with Forestry Commission Area Officers
- Valuable for forestry practitioners, agents and woodland owners
