University and College Courses

There are a wide variety of forestry and arboricultural courses on offer by universities and colleges throughout the UK. Many of these courses embrace elements of environmental management, conservation and other disciplines relating to forestry and arboriculture. Full details of the courses and entry requirements should be obtained from the university or college directly.

The following universities and colleges offer courses which have been accredited by the Institute of Chartered Foresters and which provide admission to the Institute's Professional Membership Entry (PME). Other courses, both discontinued and new, may also be accepted as entry to the PME. Details can be obtained by contacting the membership secretary.
